The book of Ruth is a classic - a classic love story. And if there's a love story being shown- then the first few roles will all be filled with women! There aren't many stories in the Bible being told from a woman's viewpoint, but the story of Ruth is a window into a woman's world in the time of the judges. Many things have changed in society since then but we all are (even the men) still looking for the great love of our lives. Every relationship we try to use to fill our love hunger will always come up short - as dead as Ruth's first childless marriage. What we all need is that kinsman Redeemer to sweep us into His great arms and take us into the happily ever after...
