HOPE CHANNEL PRESENTS 61st General Conference Session
Silver Spring, MarylandJun 2, 2022, 2:19 PM
The 61st General Conference Session will be held next week on June 6-11, 2022, at St. Louis, Missouri. The General Conference Session of the Seventh-day Adventist Church has been adjusted to this date and place because of the COVID-19 crisis that caused the event to be postponed twice in 2020 and 2021. The General Conference Session is a global spiritual gathering and a constitutionally required business meeting that has been held every five years since 1970. Its purpose is to vote on global leadership, set the direction of the Church for the next five years, and vote changes to the Constitution, Fundamental Beliefs and Church Manual.
However, this year, the much-loved exhibit hall will be virtual, meaning that no matter where you are in the world, you can experience the blessing of the exhibition from the comfort of your home.
You will be able to visit virtual booths from various ministries of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, interact with organizations and other booth visitors via chat, attend webinars and workshops, and more. We are excited to meet you at the Hope Channel booth!
Hope Channel, the global evangelistic media ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, is pleased to provide streaming service for our constituents to follow the proceedings at the General Conference through hopechannelinternational.org
“We are glad to be providing the streaming service of the General Conference session for our valued constituents who would like to follow the proceedings” Derek Morris, president of Hope Channel International.
Hope Channel will also be airing a daily summary of the General Conference session news at 8:30 PM EDT every day of the session from June 6-11, 2022.
