As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10, NKJV.

This month, Hope Channel launched a new bible study course called, “Steps Toward Faithful Stewardship.” This course will help viewers learn how to manage their possessions to the honor and glory of God. Having the needed resources to be a faithful steward is valuable and by taking this course, viewers will have a clear foundation about the steps needed to become one.

Jason Miller, director of Planned Giving shares with us, “Hope Channel has been very intentional about creating courses that will help people in everyday life. This course will help people better manage what God has given them. It uses simple stories, illustrations, videos, and interactive quizzes to help the course taker become a good steward. I always thought I was a good steward. But then I went through the practical principles for myself and found so many areas I could grow in. I especially loved the Stewardship of Money section. As a young person, there is so much I can learn on how to better manage my resources. Especially as someone with student debt, bills to pay, and a future to manage, I learned from this course to take what God has given me, place it into his hands, and let Him guide me in how to manage it.”

Some of the topics covered in this course include learning to manage your money to increase savings, avoid debt, and experience financial success. Viewers will also explore how to find a healthy balance in life and how to manage time wisely. This course is separated into seven different lessons, all under 30 minutes to complete.

“Stewardship is a comprehensive system that touches every aspect of life. These seven lessons serve as an introduction. They focus on what we do with ourselves, our health, possessions and the environment. Stewardship is a life well managed. Its ultimate characteristic is contentment. As people view the many programs on Hope Channel they have an opportunity to increase their happiness and contentment. Planned Giving hopes that viewers will be inspired to support this ministry so others can experience happiness and contentment. Of all the areas of life that we encounter, helping others is the most important activity we can do. This is the best way to be remembered. Leaving a legacy is the crown jewel of stewardship,” says John Matthews.
