Pea Soup

Ingredients

2 1/4 C green split peas (16-oz. pkg.)

2 qt. water

1 onion

1 C diced celery

1 t salt

1/2 t marjoram

1/2 t thyme

½ t sweet basil

1 T parsley

1 bay leaf

1 cube vegetarian bouillon

Directions:

Cover peas with water.

Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and add all other ingredients.

Simmer until peas are soft, about 2 hours.

Remove bay leaf and serve.
