THE NATIONS – PART 1

This week we will look at lessons in working together in unity, and resolving conflicts. What can we learn about working together as a community of faith? What lessons can be learned about avoiding conflict, and resolving conflict when it arises from the story of the Transjordanian tribes?

What if God feels silent but is still at work? After a traumatic brain injury, creative director Ed Guthero had to relearn everything—including faith. Heidi Burke, born a quadruple amputee, and her mother Dawn, share their journey of understanding what it truly means to wait on God.

How far would you go to follow God's call? Andrew Gonzalez gave up his business to build bulletproof homes in Mozambique. Marco Topete, a former addict, found himself knocking on doors with a message of hope. Together, they prove God can use anyone, anywhere, to change lives.

We have a Promised Land to look forward to with hope. What can the study of the earthly land of promise teach us about seeking the heavenly Canaan? What challenges can we expect to face? This week we will see how lessons learned from earthly the Canaan can lead us to the heavenly Canaan.
