Though chained, Paul saw himself as Christ’s ambassador, reminding us that even in suffering, God’s presence and purpose remain with us.

Colossians 4 highlights how the early church joined together in “Participating in the Mission of Jesus” through many different believers—messengers, prayer warriors, leaders, encouragers, and helpers. Paul mentions people like Tychicus, Onesimus, Epaphras, and Luke, showing that God uses all kinds of people in His work. Even those who once failed, like John Mark, were restored and became valuable in ministry.
