Life and Death

This study focuses on Paul’s letter to the Philippians, revealing how Paul found joy and purpose even while imprisoned. Paul affirms his desire for Christ to be magnified whether in life or death, reminding us that belonging to Him gives purpose and removes fear of the grave.

This week's lesson explores Paul’s testimony of unwavering devotion, and what it means to live with such confidence in Jesus. It highlights his courage and joy during imprisonment, knowing that even suffering could advance the gospel, trusting that Christ will be magnified in him whether he lives or dies. He reminds the believers that Christ’s resurrection removes the fear of death, and calls believers to trust God and live a life worthy of the gospel.
